HOW IT WORKS:

  • Tailored Sessions: Each intensive program session is divided into two halves. The first part is led by our skilled personal trainers, focusing on fitness and individualized workout routines. The second part is guided by our licensed PTs or PTAs, concentrating on therapeutic exercises and techniques.
  • Collaborative Goal Setting: Our collaborative approach involves setting goals of the benefits of personal training, and subsequently offering therapeutic elements of physical therapy, through our licensed physical therapists. We believe that by combining the strengths of both disciplines, we can maximize the outcomes for our clients.

Who's Eligible for Our Intensive Program?

At Neurowerks, our intensive program is designed to benefit individuals of all ages who are grappling with neurological disorders. If you or your loved one is dealing with conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, Traumatic Brain Injury, Spina Bifida, Developmental delays, Post-stroke (CVA), Ataxias, Genetic Syndromes, and others, our program may be the right fit.

Common Conditions Include: hypotonia, spasticity, athetosis, ataxia, dystonia, weakness, sensory issues, and others,..

Age Range: We welcome clients from as early as 6 months and beyond. Neuroplasticity studies suggest that starting the program at an earlier age can lead to more favorable outcomes. Therefore, the earlier we begin, the better the results we can achieve together.

General Structure:

  • Our intensive program typically spans 2 to 3 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
  • The duration of the program can be tailored to meet individual needs, ranging from 3 to 10 weeks.

Optimal Duration for First-Timers:

  • For those embarking on their first intensive program with Neurowerks, we strongly recommend a 4-week duration for optimal results.

Why 4 Weeks?

  • Research and our extensive experience have shown that a 4-week duration often yields the best outcomes, especially for first-time participants. This timeframe allows for substantial progress and sets the foundation for continued success.

Flexible Scheduling:
